Zurney

the idea

Zurney is my first ever experience with the startup world. I decided to create a mobile app that assists tourists along every step of the journey: literally jump on a flight and Zurney will take care of the rest.

The idea was also to bring in high-tech features like AI and 3D to elevate the user experience.

how it works

Wherever you are, Zurney always finds the best activities, experiences and things to do around you.

On top of that, I built guided tours that you experience right inside the app. Imagine you are in a small Italian village: you want to explore it, but you don't know how to get around or what is worth seeing. Zurney guides you step by step to the best spots, with information and directions along the way, and at some stops you can even switch to augmented reality and see the place come to life through your phone's camera.

the result

I published the app on both the App Store and Google Play, where it reached thousands of downloads. I also had the chance to close multiple deals with local entities that wanted to use the app for their own purposes.

what I learned

What I keep from this project is the huge amount of experience and knowledge about the startup world, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
